What is online therapy?Online therapy (also called Telehealth Therapy) allows clients to receive mental health therapeutic services from the comfort of their own home. I use a HIPAA compliant, confidential, platform that is easy to use on any device. Currently, I am only offering online therapy to anyone residing in WA State.
-
How does online therapy work? How do I schedule an appointment?I accept new clients through Mindful Therapy Group. Call 425-640-7009 to schedule an intake session and they will take your demographic and insurance information. Once you are set up through Mindful Therapy Group you will be able to complete paperwork, schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments, contact me, and start HIPAA compliant video sessions.
-
What types of therapy do you provide? My practice is predominantly focused on working with individuals and couples who are going through life transitions. I have a special interest in working with clients who are struggling with perinatal and postpartum mental health and also individuals and couples who are experiencing or have been fighting infertility or pregnancy loss. In terms of treatment style, I employ a wide variety of therapeutic treatment modalities to suit the needs of my clients. The primary treatment methods I utilize are Narrative Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy
-
How long are therapy sessions?Therapy sessions are roughly 53 minutes long with requests for longer sessions reviewed on a case by case basis.
-
What is your payment policy? Do you accept insurance? At this time I am only an in-network provider for Premera Insurance through Mindful Therapy Group. If you are interested in using your Premera Insurance for sessions please call 425-640-7009 to schedule an intake session with Celeste Sargin.
-
Benefits of not using insurance? Many clients prefer to not use insurance to ensure that therapist's notes and sessions are kept confidential. Insurance agencies require notes to be submitted and a diagnosis for treatment that will go on your medical record permanently. By paying privately, you have more control over keeping your mental health confidential.
-
What is your cancellation policy?I am more than happy to reschedule or cancel any sessions at least 48 hours before our scheduled appointment time. Any cancellations that occur in the 48 hour window will result in a fee.
